Forum Rules - PLEASE READ!

Welcome to Eyes on the Hills! In order to provide a fun and welcoming environment to all, we have a few rules set in place. Please take the time to review them prior to posting.

PLEASE NOTE: These rules are subject to change as the forum grows and evolves. Be sure to check back here from time to time to avoid any issues. Questions regarding any rules can be directed at a Site Moderator or Administrator.

1. No Spam / Advertising / Self-promoting in the forums
This forum defines spam as unsolicited advertisement for goods, services and/or other web sites, or posts with little or completely unrelated content. Do not spam the forum with links to your site or product. Do not try to self-promote your website, business or forum etc. Spamming also includes sending private messages to a large number of different users.

Do not ask members for any personally identifying information (Home address, email address, phone number, etc.).

2. Do not post copyright-infringing material
Providing or asking for information on how to illegally obtain copyrighted materials is forbidden.

3. Do not post “offensive” posts, links or images/videos/audio files
Users of this forum may not violate the rights of others, and may not be obscene, sexually explicit, defamatory, offensive, objectionable, abusive, or harmful to others.

Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on these forums. This includes user pictures, avatars, and signatures.

As we are primarily a forum that is centered around a horror series, there will undoubtedly be some material on this forum that others may find disturbing. Images/videos depicting violence should be used with common sense. While such content is allowed within reason, do not abuse the privilege to post such content, it does not serve as a free license to post inappropriate content. Moderators and Administrators have the discretion to remove images/videos that they deem to be in violation of the spirit of the rules.

4. Remain respectful of other members at all times
All posts should be courteous. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective. However, you are not free to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle them. It does not matter what title or power you hold in these forums, you are expected to obey this rule.

If you have an issue with the community or a staff member, please post to the Feedback and Suggestions sub-forum or reach out to an Administrator.

4. Do not cross post threads
Please refrain from posting the same topic in several forums. There is normally one forum in which it is most suitable to post your topic.
